I have known Ray for so long... since starting elementary school... and although I haven't seen him in my adult life we kept in touch for some time on Facebook where I could tell he was still just as nice a person as the boy and young man I remember from so many years ago.
I think he was a friend to all who knew him. He was funny and kind to everyone and had a wonderful sense of humor.. he could laugh at all our foolishness as well as at himself without a trace of ridicule and was sincerely interested in others and in being a truly good friend.
Even though I haven't actually been able to spend any…
Truly saddened to see this. Ray was a great guy. My thoughts are with Nancy and his family.
