Richard Edward Phill, 62, beloved husband of Tiffany Hwang Phill of Ansonia passed away suddenly on Sunday, August 15, 2021 after a brief battle with a rare and very progressive brain disease called Prion, Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease (CJD) He was born on September 11, 1958 to the late Mr. Howard Edward Phill and Mrs. Jean Marren Phill.
Richard grew up in Ansonia, CT. He graduated from Ansonia High School and attended Gateway Community College where he earned his Associates Degree. He worked for Sikorsky for 29 years as a Lead Gear Man. He married Tiffany in 2011 and most recently worked for Planet Fitness as a trainer for the last 10 years.
He was an amateur boxer, loved animals and was always there to lend a helping hand to others. Richard loved his family more than anything. His greatest accomplishment and joy in his life was his son, Joshua Paul. He was such a proud and amazing Father.
In addition to his wife, Richard is survived by his son, Joshua Paul and brother, Howard Edward Phill, Jr.
