On Sunday, August 23, 2020, Robert John Cousineau passed away peacefully to the sound of music at 62 years old. Born in Bristol, Connecticut on December 18, 1957, he became affectionately known as Bobby.
As a child he enjoyed spending time at Lake Compounce and Sunday drives to Broad Brook and Windsor Locks to visit family. When he was older he enjoyed summer visits to New Hampshire with his brother Joe and his family. Bobby graduated high school and promptly joined his brothers as a Specialist in the United States Army where he served until 1979.
He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Joseph Cousineau, and his mother, Veronica Pauline Cushman as well as his son, Joseph Cousineau and brothers Raymond Cousineau and Joseph Cousineau. Bobby is survived by his daughter, Lisa Cousineau and her mother, Suk Cousineau, his grandchildren Joseph Jr., Traylise, and Jolise, His brother David (Barbara) Cousineau, his sisters Edith (Howard) Maxfield, and Pamela (Alvin Jr.) Brooks, sister in law Carolyn Cousineau and many nieces and nephews.
A burial will be held at East Cemetery , 220 East Center Street in Manchester, Connecticut on Saturday September 12th at 10:30 a.m. with a Celebration of Life following at Wickham Park, 1329 Middle Turnpike West, Manchester, Connecticut.
