Robert R. Page (Bob-O), 70, of Hartford, CT, passed away unexpectedly at Hartford Hospital on July 29, 2026. Born on November 29, 1955, in Frog Hollow District in Canada. Bob-O was a man of immense talent, intellect, and heart. He graduated from A.I. Prince Technical High School with a trade in electrics before going on to earn his Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering. Bob-O brought his brilliant mind to United Technologies Corporation (UTC), where he worked in failure analysis and served as a vital, specialized liaison between UTC Research & Development in East Hartford and its various global divisions. Beyond his corporate success, Bob-O was a true entrepreneur and a talented chef. He channeled his love for food and people into his business, DoGone, serving up gourmet hot dogs and endless smiles. To know Bob-O was to know a man dedicated to uplifting his community. He was a tireless advocate, supporter, and volunteer for Foodshare, Aid-a-Pet, Parkville Senior and Community Health Center and the Charter Oak Health Center. Whether he was feeding families, helping animals, or looking out for a neighbor, he was always ready to lend a helping hand. Bob-O loved people, adored animals, and left a lasting mark on everyone he met. His bright energy and generous soul will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and the Hartford community he loved so much. He is survived by his beloved son, Alan Page, as well as a community of friends and neighbors who will miss his bright energy and generous soul deeply. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Bob-O's life on Tuesday, October 13th, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM in the community room at Shepherd Park Elderly Housing (170 Sisson Ave, Hartford, CT). A private burial service will take place on Wednesday, October 14th. In lieu of flowers, and in honor of Bob-O’s deep love for animals, donations are gratefully being accepted to support the community pet pantry at AID a Pet Hartford.
