Robert R. Upright Sr. age 79 of Meriden passed away suddenly on Monday June 10th 2019.
He was the beloved husband of Kimberly J. Upright. He was a graduate of Pine Bush High School in NY state. He spent many years working in the cardboard box industry and retired as head of the shipping department at National Filter Media. He had many wonderful memories of younger years spent at the cabin and the lake. He loved watching the UCONN women's basketball games,New York Mets, John Wayne movies and of course his beloved NY Giants. He all ready had the upcoming schedule and great hopes for the new season.
He is survived by his son Robert R. Upright,Jr and daughter-in-law Dawn Upright, his daughter Linda Adamo and son-in-law Peter Adamo and was predeceased by his son James Upright. His grandchildren Peter Adamo,Jennifer Lavoie,Elizabeth Adamo and Nicholas Upright. He is also survived by many great grandchildren.
Per Bob's wishes, there are no calling hours and he will be cremated.
