Ronald  Donovan

Ronald  Donovan, age 79, passed away on May 23, 2024, with his loving wife by his side.  Born in Quinebaug, CT on February 27, 1945. Ron was a beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great-Grandfather, Brother, Uncle and Friend.


Ron had a deep love for the Lord and spent years ministering to others, spreading the word of Jesus. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, especially by the sea. Ron could often be found at St. Mary's By the Sea, watching boats and sharing his faith. Galilee in Rhode Island held a special place in his heart, where many cherished family memories were made.


He is survived by his devoted Wife of 18 years MariAlice, Daughters:  Donna & Michael Faucher, Darlene Baker & Robert Booth, Kerri & John Price, Grandchildren: Matthew R. Faucher, Hannah Baker, Thomas & Christine Faucher, Raymond & Mollie Baker, Great- Grandchildren: Hailey, Emma, Brendan, Bentley, Alexus, Chloe, Ziggy, Brody and Carl, Siblings: Leslie Malloy, Mallory Flagg, Sheridan Parker and Ross Flagg. His wife MariAlice's Children:  Rachel, Nathan, Jeremy, and Hannah Gilroy and Grandchildren Caine and Levi, Sisters-in-law: Jaucqueta Donovan, Jean Donovan and Sue McFarland as well as many special Nieces and Nephews. 


Ron was preceded in death by his Mother Mary Broughton, Step- father Elsworth Broughton, Wife Paulette Donovan, and her parents Laura and Normand Laroche Brothers: Twin Brother Donald Donovan, Edward Donovan and Joseph Donovan, Sr.  Sisters: Beverly McDonald and Constance Charette.


Ron had a fulfilling career as a Salesman in the Well Drilling business for many years and later went on to become the Environmental Director of a nursing home before retiring and moving to Bridgeport to work with His Mansion Ministries. He dedicated close to 40 years serving on the Board of Directors at His Mansion, as well as being an Elder, actively involved in churches, prayer teams, bible studies, and preaching the word of God.


Ron shared special relationships with each and every person in his life and he will be dearly missed.


A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, August 31, 2024 at Community Bible Chapel, 385 South Street Brooklyn, CT at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to His Mansion Ministries in New Hampshire by visiting hismansion.com

One week you have been gone and I miss you so much Dad. You were such a bright part of my life. I will carry you in my heart forever. Missing you in one of the hardest things I have ever done. Until we meet again......I LOVE YOU.
