Roy Carl Haney Sr. passed peacefully at home on March 9th at age 60, with his wife and sons by his side.
Roy is survived by his wife Barbara Haney of Manchester. His two sons Roy Haney Jr. of Manchester, Kyle Haney of New Britain and daughter in law Natasha Haney of New Britain. His two daughters Stephanie Torres of Hartford, and Maghan Mcleod of East Hartford. His brothers Glen Haney of New Britain and David Haney of Hartford. He also leaves behind his 7 grandchildren, Luis Torres Jr, Nevaeh Torres, Gabriel Torres, Tuaquan Smith, Mia Vasquez, Joshua Vasquez, and Zoe' Haney. He was predeceased by his father Charles James Haney and mother Verdie Haney.
He had a passion for fishing, cars, and spending his time with family. Roy will be fondly remembered as a loving father, grandfather, friend, jokester and so much more.
