In Loving Memory of Linda Ruth McAward: We gather with heavy hearts to remember and honor the life of Linda, a compassionate nurse, a devoted sister, a nurturing mother, and a loving wife. Linda, born on October 12th, 1954, departed this world on August 12th, 2023, leaving behind a legacy of strength and unwavering love. Linda dedicated many years of her life as a nurse. As a sister, Linda embodied the true essence of family bonds. Her warmth and generosity created a sense of belonging that her siblings cherished. Linda’s role as a mother was her most cherished. Her nurturing spirit and unconditional love shaped the lives of her two children. Linda enjoyed cooking, drawing and spending time with her grandson, Brady. Linda leaves behind a heartbroken family including her husband, Doug McAward of Orange, her daughter Danielle Pelland and her husband Richard and son Brady of Cumberland, Rhode Island. She will be dearly missed by her two brothers, Tom Dowin of Milford, and Richard Dowin with his wife Janice, of Milford. Per her wishes, close family will gather at her burial site where she will be laid to rest with her late son, Nicholas Ciriello.
