Sandra Lembo

Sandra Lembo, née Soblen, age 87, passed away peacefully on July 23, 2025, in Marlborough, Connecticut.

Born on October 16, 1937, in New York, NY, Sandra grew up in Wethersfield, Connecticut, where she met and later married the love of her life, William “Bill” Lembo. The two built a beautiful life together filled with love, laughter, and family before Bill’s passing.

Sandra worked for many years at Travelers Insurance and later was an Engineer at Pratt & Whitney Aircraft. She was known not only for her strong work ethic but also for her warmth and compassion. Sandra always had a kind word for everyone, and her gentle presence brought comfort to all who knew her.

Above all, Sandra was a devoted mother, proud grandmother, and loving great-grandmother. She is survived by her son, Brian Lembo, and his wife Carrie Lembo of Long Neck, Delaware; her grandchildren Douglas Lembo and his wife Jennifer, David Shelton and his wife Michelle , Samantha Benc and her partner Emma, Travis Lembo and his wife Inez, Charrie Lembo and her fiancé Dante,  Alison Dimmock and her husband Michael. She also leaves behind seven cherished great-grandchildren. 

Sandra was predeceased by her beloved husband, William Lembo.

A private family gathering will be held at a later date to honor and celebrate Sandra’s life. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor Sandra’s memory with a kind word, a gentle deed, or a moment of quiet reflection — just as she lived her life every day. A donation can also be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in Sandra's honor.
