Sandra Rae Muller 1939-2021

Sandra Rae Muller

Born 8/8/1939 - Died 9/29/2021

Our beautiful Mom passed away on 9/29/21 after suffering a stroke a few days earlier. We thought for sure that she would come home, just as she had done many times before when she would suffer life-threatening illnesses. As her daughter Kris says, "She certainly seems to have lived her nine lives."

Sandra was predeceased by her infant son Kurt, her father John Arthur Mitchell, her mother Esther Alva Mitchell (Zahnke), and her brother Arthur Barry.

She is survived by her brother Brooke Mitchell and his wife Kim; Her children - Kris Topa and her husband John, Linda Muller, and Kim Linderman-Silva and her husband Ricardo. Grandchildren - Melissa Topa, Ryan Topa, Adam Topa, Michelle Slade, Hannah Ferris, Andrew Silva, Michael Silva, Michele Silva and Mary Silva. Great Grandchildren - Benjamin Slade, Samantha Slade, and 2 great grandchildren on the way.

Our Mom had chosen to be associated with Jehovah's Witnesses when she learned the Bible truth about God's promises for a beautiful future, including the resurrection of those whom she lost to death. She especially looked forward to being able to be reunited with her infant son so that she would be able to raise him in the knowledge of the promises she held so dear.

Sandra had such a spunky and loving way about her that drew so many people to love her. She absolutely loved her special friend and Bible teacher Terry Tanner, who helped her through so many of life's struggles, and helped her to be comforted by the scriptures. So much so that we consider her family.

Even Mom's home health aides gained a very strong bond with her. They would bring her to the stores to shop, and they would be going through the stores laughing out loud and causing mischief, like blaring her bicycle horn while riding the handicapped carts. She shared her love of her scriptural knowledge with them as well, with one of them progressing to the point of dedicating their life to Jehovah.

Her daughter Linda says that she gets her deep love and connection of animals, both wild and domesticated from our Mom. Granddaughter Hannah also had a very special relationship with her, and visited often. They shared a love of the UCONN Women's Basketball program, discussing shows and games they shared in common.

Mom had the best sense of humor, and made light of each situation she could. Even when she was in the middle of any health crisis, she would crack jokes - sometimes unwittingly.

Sandra Rae Muller will be missed by so many people - Family and Friends. We will see you again, and you will never again have to say "I have a belly ache".
