Sharon Coughlin Skurat, 68, passed away at Yale New Haven Hospital on June 4th, 2019, surrounded by her family.
She had a love for music and dancing, and was a hairdresser for many years. She was the daughter of the late Harriet (Flaherty) Coughlin Dempsey and John Coughlin Sr.
Sharon is survived by her husband, Karl Skurat and two daughters, Shaye (Thomas) Yoxall (Beacon Falls), and Lindsay(Michael) Perry (Ansonia). She is also survived by her brother Thomas (Kim) Coughlin (North Haven), brother-in-law Dennis Skurat ( Florida), grandchildren Alexis, Katelynn, Tyler, Michael Jr. and Samantha, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers John, James, William and Richard Coughlin.
There are no calling hours. A private ceremony will be held at a later date.
