Sharon Lynne Lee (Emery)

Sharon passed peacefully in her bed at home in Columbia, Saturday march 21st, surrounded by loved ones.

She was pre deceased by her husband of 55 years David lee the love of her life, her father Wellington Emery, mother Valerie, sisters Tsani Pinnone (Emery), Crystal Baver (Emery) and infant sister Alida Faye Emery.

She leaves her two sons Anthony Tarascio and his wife Mary Ann Tarascio, Richard Tarascio and his wife christine Tarascio and Anthony Taylor her “adopted” son and his wife Lynn.

Several nieces & nephews, cousins and her greatest joys her grandchildren, Bethany Tarascio, Lorenzo Tarascio, and her great grandchildren, Makenzie and Camden Smith.

Her lifelong best friend Joan Hayward was with her in her final weeks visiting almost daily as a source of comfort and love till her passing.

She was a devout born again Christian devoting her life to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

She loved to play games and crochet making items for her family and friends. She also made hats for cancer patients going through chemotherapy weekly to cover their heads.

Sharon loved fiercely everyone around her and welcomed everyone as family once she got to know you.

Her favorite holiday was Christmas where she would delight in watching everyone open presents lasting for hours.

Burial services will be private with her immediate family, her final resting place will be Bar Harbor along side her parents and family as well as her husband David.

A celebration of life will be held in the summer.
