Sharon Weyland (nee Davis), of Middletown, CT, sadly left us on July 30th, 2024, after a long struggle with Parkinson’s Disease. She entered the world in Hartford on Christmas Day in 1952.
Sharon is remembered as a kind, gentle soul with a great love for nature and animals, especially cats. She fought valiantly to engage with the things she enjoyed and the family she loved, even as Parkinson’s Disease, took its toll on her wellbeing.
Sharon leaves behind her loving and loyal husband of 31 years, Stephen Weyland, her stepdaughter and son-in-law, Bonnie and Lucas Smith and grandchildren Camille, Claire and Weyland Smith; her sister-in-law Janice Watson; her father John Davis, sister Patty Davis and brother-in-law, Steve Tucker. Sharon was predeceased by her mother, Joan Davis; her sister Lauren Davis and brother Mark Davis.
Sharon is a graduate of Clinton High School (1970) and worked for many years as a dental assistant.
The family would like to thank Middlesex Health Hospice Program care providers. Contributions may be sent to the Micheal J. Fox Foundation or Middlesex Health Hospice. The family will be honoring Sharon’s life privately.
