Stella Mejia

Stella Mejia passed away on February 28, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She is predeceased by her daughter, Angela Maria Mejia, and by her parents, Ofelia and Emiliano Florez.

She is survived by her daughters, Blanca Stella Giglio and Marisol Mejia; her son-in-law, Anthony Steven Giglio; her grandchildren, Kathleen Victoria Giglio, Fabian Giglio, Delvone Anthony Davis, and Steven Anthony Giglio; and her great-granddaughter, Natalia Alexis Garcia.

Born into a large and loving family, Stella was the third eldest of fifteen siblings. She was known as the steady, dependable "rock" of the family, someone whose strength, warmth, and generosity shaped the lives of everyone around her.

Stella found joy in the simple and meaningful moments of life. She loved tending to her flowers and plants, traveling, working on puzzles, visiting casinos, savoring her daily coffee, and watching her favorite Spanish programs and game shows.  Above all, she cherished time spent with family and friends, and she never missed an opportunity to connect with the people she loved.

Stella will be cremated, and her ashes will be laid to rest in a garden. A memorial service will be held at a later date to honor her life and legacy.
