Steven Henry Lepak, son of the late Elizabeth Mae Lenz and Henry Peter Lepak, died unexpectedly at his home in New Britain, CT on April 20, 2022.
Born on March 23,1960, Steven grew up in the Estates neighborhood in Farmington, CT, graduating from Farmington High School with the class of 1978. He continued his education at Albertus Magnus College, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in 1996. Steven served his community as a volunteer firefighter with the East Farmington station beginning in the late 1970’s, where he became the social president. He was employed as an Export Specialist by ABB Industrial Solutions in Bloomfield, CT, and previously at the General Electric Company in Plainville, CT.
Steven is survived by his life partner, Josue David Flores of New Britain, CT. He is pre-deceased by his parents, and his sister, Sharon Mary Lepak of Farmington, CT. Steven is survived by his brothers – Peter Lepak and his sister-in-law Kathleen, of Farmington, CT, and Edward Lepak and his sister-in-law Gail, of Simsbury, CT, his nephews and niece, John Lepak, his wife, Katharina Lepak and grand-niece June Lepak, of Newton, CT, Peter “Trap” Lepak of Portsmouth, RI, and Kathleen “Kali” Lepak of Farmington, CT. Steven is also survived by his maternal uncle, Philip Lenz of Southington, CT, and his cousins, Donald Lenz of Orlando, FL, Debra Lenz of New York, NY, Dick Lenz, of Litchfield, CT, Michael Lenz, of East Bend, NC, Tom Lenz, of Prospect, CT, and Nancy Lenz, of Southington, CT.
Funeral arrangements will be private.
