Susan Carol Dorazio, 72, passed away Monday, March 20th at 8:15 p.m. at Yale New Haven Hospital. She was the loving wife of John Dorazio for 49 years. Susan was born in Mount Vernon, New York, on August 16th, 1950, daughter of the late Richard and Joyce Glueck. She was a graduate of Fox Lane High School in Bedford, New York, Silvermine College of Art, and the University of Bridgeport. She was a well-known equine and animal artist. Her paintings and drawings grace the home and offices of many admiring clients. She was represented by P.S. Gallery, Handwrite Gallery of Litchfield, New Additions Gallery of Kentucky, and Decoys and Wildlife Gallery of New Jersey. Susan was a noted life member of the American Academy of Equine Art in Virginia.
She is survived by her husband John of Marlow, New Hampshire, her sisters, Jeryl Stock of New York, Joy Von Glueck of Ottsville, Pennsylvania, her brother Richard Glueck of Florida, and many nieces and nephews. A private celebration of her life for family and friends will be held in late spring and will be announced. Notes of sympathy and comfort may be sent to John Dorazio, P.O. So sorry for your loss John, She was a wonderful lady!!! I remember many years ago when she was a member of SCAN in Newtown, Ct...Purchased several works of her art which are beautiful...Been a long time now, but have many great memories of you and Susan with SCAN, our get togethers and friendship...Setting up art shows, etc...
