Suzanne Miller 1932-2020

Suzanne Miller 88, Left this world to reunite with her husband Edwin on 12/10/2020. She was born in Defiance Ohio on 2/21/32 to Leon and Janet Kohl's and they raised her in Rochester, New York.


Sue and Ed moved to East Hartford in 1963 where she was a stay-at-home mom until all five of their children were in school full-time. Sue then went to work at Pratt and Whitney retiring at the age of 53 during that time she herself went back to college to achieve her associates degree at the age of 50.


Suzanne enjoyed traveling the world with Ed before his early departure. She loved knitting, sewing, crocheting, and board games. Sue may not have been the best cook but could put everyone to shame when it came to Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune.

Sue will be remembered as kind, caring, soft spoken loving, her beautiful smile and always putting her family first. Hands down she absolutely loved her chocolate... that always brought a big smile and wide eyes, even up into her very last days in the hospital.


Sue leaves behind wonderful memories and life lessons for her children David Miller, Jane Putnam, John and Jody Miller, Kathleen Ahl, Vincent Miller. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren which she was known as Gigi to..Stephen, Kristina,Joe, Matt, Danielle, Austin, Kaitlyn Melissa, Corey, Everett and Alex. Nancy Brown, Paul and Maryann Robbins, Tom and Carol Kohls and many cherish nieces and nephews.. and her best friend Lynn England.

Services will be private. Memorials may be made to the donors favorite charity as Sue did not have just one favorite charity, she had many.
