Theresa (Terra) Anne Piacenta

Theresa (Terra) Anne Piacenta, 80 passed away peacefully at home in Rocky Hill. She will be missed by all. Terra was the 5th of 7 daughters and 2 sons of parents Louis and Catherine Piacenta. Terra loved to laugh but loved making others laugh more with her awesome sense of humor and quick wit. She loved dancing and bowling and missed those things due to her recent heart and kidney failure. She played tennis in her earlier years and enjoyed going to the gym. Charleston RI was a favorite yearly vacation with Laura and Mikey since she loved the beach. She was kind and generous to her friends and family and strangers always talked to her because of her friendly face and cute dimples. She & Mikey enjoyed vacationing in Florida with Jude and Tommy so many years. Terr always kept her great sense of humor and brought smiles to so many with her funny birthday cards,

She was an Al Anon member for 40 yrs and hosted Thanksgivings for those folks who were alone. She worked for Heublein for many years and was Finance manager at Trinity Episcopal church in Htfd as well as temporary jobs like Fox News and UTC until retiring in 2015.

She leaves behind her two sons Jerold Levitan and James Levitan, Two remaining sisters and their husbands Jude and Tommy DeConti and Angela and Jim Butler. Her 7 grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Sweet Luigi will miss her. Her Special Care Team supported her every day during the difficult journey these last 2 plus years. Ang and Jim who were there for her and miss her so, Jude who was like an angel and gave her so much love and attention. Her niece Elizabeth Chasse who was like a daughter to her, and did so much for her ,and thanks to her Best supporting friend Mikey for his daily support and love. They all brightened her days with calls and visits and help.

Yes we miss you , RIP Beautiful Terr, Our love for you will never die.

A Memorial service will be held on Wednesday November 15th at 10:00 AM Trinity Episcopal Church 120 Sigourney Street Hartford Ct
