Thomas Charles Sherman, 61, died Friday April 15, 2022 at the VA Medical Center.
Thomas was born August 11, 1960 to Edward and Elizabeth Sherman of East Haven.
He was predeceased by his late wife and best friend, Helen Sherman (Gertsch).
Thomas is survived by his children, Justine (Luigi) Cappetta, Thomas Sherman Jr, Amanda Dolic and fiance Mehrudin Cejvanovic.
His 6 grandchildren were the light of his life. Nathan, Caylee, Gerardo, Izabella, Aldijan, Demir and Ajla.
Thomas served in the Marines and had many friends. He will be missed dearly.
The family of Thomas would like to thank the staff at the VA Medical Center in West Haven. Their care for him was exceptional.
