Thomas J Crisinati, Sr., 82, of Springfield, MA, passed away on Friday, August 22, 2025 at his daughter’s home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Thompsonville, CT, he was the son of the late Frank J. and Hazel (Quirk) Crisinati. He was the longtime owner of Mr. Cris Coiffure in Warehouse Point, and later worked part time for Carol Jean’s Hair Studio. He proudly served his country in the US Navy as an airman during the Vietnam Era aboard the USS Shangri-La. Tom was gregarious and offered a friendly smile to those he met. His favorite pastime was riding his Harley, Harley Davidson charity runs, and Daytona Bike Week. He lived his life in service to others and was at his best when he could lend a helping hand. He will be missed by his loving family; his children, Thomas J. Crisinati, Jr., and his fiancé, Doug Scheidig of Pompano Beach, FL, Tara Crisinati and her wife, Katharine Moore of Richmond, VA, and Colleen Dudley and her husband, Shawn of Somers, CT; his granddaughter, Bailee Crisinati and her boyfriend, Jordan Burks of Richmond, VA, and several nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his grandson Zachary Crisinati, his brother, Samuel Crisinati, and his sister Doris Sadutto. Services are private and at the convenience of the family. Cremation services entrusted to Abbey Cremation Service. The family would like to thank the caring team at Beacon Hospice, especially Joan and Madi, for their exceptional and personal care.
