Thomas Joseph Smeriglio Jr., born October 17, 1953, passed away at home on December 14, 2025, at the age of 72 .
He was born in Stamford, Connecticut, to Thomas  Joseph Smeriglio Sr. and Elizabeth McLeod Smeriglio. He was raised in Ridgefield, Connecticut, where he made his life.
He worked in the HVAC industry throughout his career.
He was predeceased by his son, Alexander Smeriglio, and his longtime life partner, Charmaine Mesics.
He is survived by his daughter, Lacey Barboza of Jewett City, Connecticut, and her children, Saeri and Camron Barboza.Â
