Victor M. Solis Franco

Victor M. Solis Franco, 78, of Hartford, CT, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 10, 2025, at Hartford Hospital. He was born on August 15, 1946, in Catano, PR. Son of the late Petra Franco Rohena Solis of Carolina, PR and Daniel Roman Solis of Carolina, PR. He was also predeceased by his brothers (s) Francisco Solis Franco of Hartford, CT, Jose Solis Franco and Daniel Solis Franco of Ceiba, PR. He leaves behind two sisters, Adela Solis Franco of Fajardo, PR and Maria Teresa Cintron Solis of Ocala, FL. Also, two daughters who he loved very much and was very proud of, Natalie Nealy husband Michael L. Nealy, grandson Lorenzo Manual Nealy of Bloomfield, CT, and Melody Solis and grandson Michael Angel Vasquez and granddaughter Melody Ivelisse Torres of Hartford, CT. Victor proudly began his service as a Fire Fighter on February 3, 1969, and was the First Hispanic (Puerto Rican) member of the Hartford Fire Department Engine Co.2. He enjoyed listening to Latin jazz, loved dogs, fishing, hunting, landscaping and drawing. He played the saxophone, piano and clarinet. Details of Service will be provided at a later date.
