Victoria Gruttadauria, 72 yrs old, passed away on 2/27/21 after having fought a courageous battle with throat cancer.
She was a kind, loving gentle soul & a giving person who loved everyone. She had a special affection for homeless cats, she would get up every morning at 4:00 am to feed the homeless cats in a nearby apartment complex. I would say to her, " why do this", she would say, " they need me".
She loved to go to tag sales & flea markets, not for the treasures but to meet & mingle with people. Anywhere we went, people always fell in love with her, she could easily make friends with her kind words & contagious smile. She was beautiful inside & out, her spirit shined & still does to this day, it lives on in heaven.
She was a very religious person who loved Jesus, the Holy Mother & all the Saints. St Theresa was a her special Saint, she would always ask her to send a rose whenever she requested her help & without fail, she would get that rose. I talk to her now & ask her to send a rose to me, so far I have received 4 roses from her so I know she is listening from heaven & sending her love. She always had my love & support, we were always there for each other-- she was my heart & when she died, a piece of my heart went with her but when we are together one day, it will be whole again.
I am at a lost for words but all I can say is, the world was a better place because of her & now the heavens are smiling. She never will be forgotten & I will always be grateful for the years we had together.
She is survived by 4 brothers, Peter, Armando, John, James & 3 sisters, Bernadette,Theresa, Mary & many nieces & nephews.
