Wayne Kist passed away Saturday, September 18, 2021, after a long battle with cancer at the young age of 62.
"Wayno" was known well for his selfless acts of kindness among his friends, family and community. He was an amazing man that would do anything for anyone at any time. Wayne worked as a carpenter for many years before transitioning to his trucking company, LC Trucking. Escaping from reality to the Caribbean or glamping at Charlestown Breachway with the love of his life were two of his favorite things to do.
He leaves behind a loving wife of 41 years, Charlene Kist, his two daughters and their spouses: Lindsey Kist and Kurt Gagliardi of Southbridge, MA and Brittney and Jamie Walsh of Boston, MA. Wayne was known as "Papi" to his wonderful grandbabies that he adored: Liam and Riley Walsh. He is also survived by his two brothers: Eric Kist of Danbury and Joel of Griswold, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was predeceased by his Mother and Father, Gloria and Raymond Kist, and his sister, Karen Kist.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
