Wayne L. DePardo, 84, of Newington, affectionately known as “Peep”, died Sunday, March 19, 2023, at Apple Rehab in Rocky Hill.
Born in Hartford, he proudly served in the U.S. Marines, and was an avid fisherman and skilled mechanic, retiring from Connecticut Transit. He is survived by a daughter, Sherry Belanger, and her husband Richard Belanger of Newington, a son, Daniel DePardo and his wife Suzanne DePardo of Lawrence, KS, a grandson, Nicholas Martinez, his wife, Jessica Hoyt, and great grandsons Silas Martinez and Zayne Martinez of East Hampton. He is greatly missed by all.
In lieu of a funeral or memorial service, the family will hold private ash ceremonies.
