William (Bill) Curry of New Britain, died peacefully on August 2, 2024 his 71st birthday. He was born and raised in Hartford, CT and graduated from Northwest Catholic High School in West Hartford, CT.After graduating with an Associate degree from Greater New Haven State Technical College, Bill completed his studies at UConn with a Bachelor degree. Bill’s career in Health Care was at both St Francis Hospital and UConn Health Center.Bill served in the US Navy aboard the USS DuPont and USS Trenton.Bill was predecessor by his parents Loretta (Donovan) and William R Curry, his sister Sharon (Curry) and David Felt, nephew John Poisson and niece Kelley (Brimmer) Flynn.He leaves his sisters Mary (Curry) and Joseph Poisson of New London NH, Barbara (Curry) and the late William Brimmer of Newtown CT, Thomas Curry of Hamden CT. Nephews and nieces include Michael Poisson, Erin (Brimmer) Burrows, Matthew Brimmer, Jeremy Felt and Jessica (Felt) Riveira, Andrew, Sean and Aidan Curry.Bill was a kind and gentleman who loved music and walking. Services will be private.
