William Sitterly, 87, of Cromwell, Connecticut, passed away peacefully at home on February 15, 2026, after a long illness. He was born on March 20, 1938, in Syracuse, New York.
William was a loving father, husband, and friend. He is survived by his wife Patricia; daughters, Michelle Helmerich (George Helmerich) and Tracy DeGennaro (Donnie DeGennaro); grandchildren, Ryan Helmerich (Melissa Helmerich), Jessica Olender (Christopher Olender), Nicole Hurdle (Shane Hurdle), and Sarah Battista (AJ Battista). He was predeceased by his beloved daughter, Mary Ellen Sitterly.
William was a veteran of the United States Army and worked at I2S Industries as an electrical engineer.
There will be no services at this time. A Remembrance of Life will be scheduled at a later date.
